Breathtaking images of crowds across Great Britain coming together to view the most complete solar eclipse since 1999.

The fragmented nature of our media makes shared cultural moments rarer and rarer, so this week, to celebrate the solar eclipse - and everyone coming together to see it - we've selected twelve of the best:
