The opening of ‘Myriad’, a luminarium of light and colour, created by Architects of Air, in the gardens of The Children’s Country House at Sudbury Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, on 15th October 2026. These mesmerising inflatable sculptures are filled with a kaleidoscope of colour. Inspired by forms found in nature, geometry and architecture, this enchanting sensory world invites all to explore the maze-like spaces filled with winding paths, radiant light and soaring domes, and covers an area of 900 square metres.
Designed by Architects of Air, who have pioneered public art for more than 30 years, each piece is handcrafted in Nottingham from more than 3,000 individual pieces.
